Nominations open for RBH Volunteer Awards 2017

Date published: 08 June 2017

The Rochdale Boroughwide Housing (RBH) Volunteer Awards say thank you to tenants, employees and residents.

Do you know of an inspirational individual who has given up their own time and made a real difference to you or your community?

There are eight categories for nominations:

  • Good Neighbour
  • Community Volunteer (25 years and over)
  • Young Community Volunteer (24 years and younger)
  • Supporting RBH Independent
  • Living Schemes
  • Improving RBH services
  • RBH Workplace Volunteer
  • Improving the Environment
  • Providing Digital Support

Only RBH members can nominate someone for an award, but you don’t have to be an RBH member to receive an award.

Complete the online nomination form to say who you want to nominate, what voluntary work or activity they do and how it benefits individuals or the wider community, neighbourhoods or RBH itself.

The tenant and employee members on the Community Funding Panel will select the winners and all the nominees, and the people who nominated them, will be invited to Members Together, the RBH annual member's meeting on 12 September where the winners will receive their awards.

Nominations must be received by Monday 17 July.
