Vivien Carter presents a cheque for £500 to Mayor Ian Duckworth for his charity appeal
The Duchy of Lancaster Benevolent Fund has donated £500 to the Mayor’s charity appeal.
A cheque was presented at Rochdale Town Hall to Mayor Ian Duckworth and Mayoress Christine Duckworth by Vivien Carter, chairwoman of the Deputy Lieutenants’ group, assisted by three former Mayors of the town and her co-deputy lieutenants in Rochdale, Ian Sandiford and Wing Cmmdr David Forbes.
The Mayor’s charities this year are:
- Springhill Hospice
- Rochdale Connections Trust
- Rochdale Shopmobility
- Cancer Research
- Rochdale Heartbeat
