Diocese of Manchester Ordination of Deacons at Manchester Cathedral
Karen Hamnett, Diane Newton, Sally Robinson and Jason Corrin Powell ordained at the Diocese of Manchester Ordination of Deacons service at Manchester Cathedral by David Walker, Bishop of Manchester on Sunday 2 July.
Karen Hamnett and Jason Corrin Powell will be working in Middleton and Thornham with the Revd Martin Short.
Diane Newton will be at St Martin, Castleton, with the Revd Frances Guite.
Sally Robinson will be at St Michael, Tonge-cum-Alkrington, with the Revd Jackie Calow.
David Walker, Bishop of Manchester said: “Please pray for all those to be ordained this year and especially for these candidates who will serve in our diocese.
“Please pray also for their families, friends, for all those who have supported and encouraged them on their journey and for those with whom they will serve.”
