Legoland Outdoor Visit

The children at Sunshine Preschool had their end of year trip to Legoland, Trafford Centre on 12 July.

They had fun making Lego models, run around the soft play area, go on the rides and watched a 3D movie.

Mums joined their children for the trip and took the opportunity to do a spot of shopping and have lunch. Some mums decided to spend the entire day at Legoland.

Teddy Bear Picnic

On Friday 14 July, Sunshiners had a Teddy Bear Picnic outside. The children were encouraged to bring in a healthy packed lunch along with their favourite teddy from home.

There were plenty of sandwiches, wraps, rolls and fruit shared.

Graduation Ceremony

Sunshine Preschool celebrated the success of each child’s progress on Tuesday 18 July with graduation day.

Each child received a farewell gift and two children received medals for most progress made this year.

There was also an award presented to one child for overall winner of the year.

Shabina Kauserr said: “We are pleased to see children and families moving happily into next stage of their early education.

“This year, our team has worked very hard and we are pleased to receive positive feedback from our parents and families. It gives us great confidence to make a difference in the lives of young children and we will be remembering them for years and wish them well in future years."

Mohammed Saleem, chairman of Sunshine Preschool Committee, said: “We are pleased to see children rolling onto primary school with improved confidence and skills.

“We are confident that an early and good start will lead them to achieve success in future years.

“This is an excellent example of empowering children and families through early start and readiness for school."
