Rochdale AFC Wonder Wall blooming

The Wonder Wall

Rochdale AFC’s Wonder Wall is blooming, thanks to a planting session from the Rochdale In Bloom committee on Saturday (14 April).

A representative said: “It was an excellent morning at the Wonderwall, once again, Sandy Lane is looking stunning.”

The project is a collaboration by Rochdale In Bloom, local volunteers, Rochdale AFC and Rochdale Hornets.

The original Wonder Wall, planted by volunteers in the summer of 2017, won two awards at the North West In Bloom competition.

The Wonder Wall will feature in the 2018 Rochdale entry into the North West and National In Bloom competitions, Rochdale's first entry into the national competition after being nominated to go forward as the category representative.
