Every day counts for Jack Travers at St Peter’s Primary School

Date published: 19 July 2018

Jack Travers from Year 6 pupils at St Peter’s Church of England Primary School won the raffle ticket to choose his very own bike, helmet and plenty of accessories for attending school every single day for the whole academic year.

The children all celebrated their termly attendance assembly on Wednesday.

This celebration invites parents to attend, and to watch their children being awarded with a certificate and a box of Maltesers for attending school every day for the whole of the summer term.

Following this, the children who attended every day for the whole academic year were presented with another certificate, and a golden envelope with a £10 gift card inside to spend in Symths.

Attached to the golden envelope, was a raffle ticket; the winner was taken to Halfords to choose their very own bike, helmet and plenty of accessories.

Headteacher, Mr Whelan said: “I am delighted that so many children had 100% attendance during the summer term and also so many for the whole year.

“It’s important to praise this achievement and the children were very grateful for their Maltesers and gift vouchers.

"Well done to our bike winner, he’s got a lovely summer holiday ahead of him to practice his cycling.”
