Kingsway Park High School Careers Fair

Date published: 20 July 2018

Kingsway Park High School recently hosted their first Careers Fair.

Over 50 delegates from a range of local and national post-16 providers and employers were on hand to answer questions and inspire the next generation.

Throughout the day, year groups 7 - 10 visited the fair gathering a range of information and ideas on careers.

After school, the fair was open to the general public.

From having a go at tiling with Emanuel Whittaker to making pastry swans with Hopwood Hall, there were plenty of activities for the students to get involved in.

Overall, the event was a great success and the Careers team is already looking forward to making it bigger and better next year.

Kingsway Park High School is particularly grateful to Hopwood Hall, Rochdale Sixth Form College, Emanuel Whittaker and Rochdale Borough Housing for sponsoring the event.
