Summer fun day at Bathtime Treat

A summer fun day was held at Bathtime Treat Lancashire Dog Training and Behaviour in Heywood on Sunday (19 August).

Training and grooming advice and demos took place alongside treat stalls, agility fun plus a barbecue and licensed bar.

Michelle Nuttall, of Bathtime Treat, said: “We had a great turnout and a very enjoyable day, despite the rain.”

A fun dog show judged by deputy Mayor Billy Sheerin also took place with prizes for prettiest bitch, most handsome dog, best child handler, waggiest tail, golden oldie, cheekiest pup, best rescue and best six legs.

‘Best in Show’ was won by Prince, a Japanese Spitz, and his owner, David Cockcroft, whilst crossbreed Maggie and her owners Tommy and Sarah Parkinson were awarded runner-up.
