For the final time this year, The East Lancashire Railway will see the return of Flying Scotsman in steam.

Littleborough Horticultural Society's 77th Annual Open Show – Littleborough Coach House, Sat 8 & Sun 9 September, various times

It's a Grow, Sew, Make and Bake show and non-members are welcome to participate. Flowers, vegatables, cookery, floral arrangements, handicrafts and brewing will all be showcased.
