Person trapped after collision involving four vehicles on Bury New Road, Heywood

A person was trapped after collision involving four vehicles on Bury New Road, Heywood on Monday (22 May).
Two fire engines from Heywood and a Technical Response Unit from Leigh attended.
A fire servcie spokesperson said: "One casualty was extricated by fire service and ambulance personnel, placed onto a long board and transported along with another casualty to hospital by ambulance.
"Fire crews used step chocks and hearth kit to make one vehicle safe and extricate one casualty. We were in attendance for approximately forty minutes."
