RedFaces confirm Feel Good Festival appearance

RedFaces at Rochdale Feel Good Festival on Saturday 12 August

Sheffield band RedFaces have confirmed an appearance at Rochdale Feel Good Festival. The four-piece who signed to Sony last year will be on the main stage on Saturday 12 August.

Their debut single ‘Kerosene’ was released this year, making BBC Radio One’s ‘Best Of Introducing’ playlist and was named ‘Record of the Week’ by radio stations across the country. They’ve been played on BBC 6 Music and have already completed a headline UK tour.

The band, aptly named after they turned red in front of the crowd at one of their early school gigs, comprises pals Harry Lyon, Charlie Yapp, Isaac White and Ryan Laycock and the band write and perform songs with great melodies and catchy hooks, drawing on influences from the 1960s to the noughties.

They are winning fans, friends and plaudits across the UK and are becoming one of the most talked about new bands in the country having already played a stack of festivals including Tramlines, Leeds and T In The Park. RedFaces have also supported The Strypes and The Courteeners.

RedFaces join previously announced headliner Razorlight, Manchester’s Baked A La Ska, Pacific, Marbelhead Johnson, The Bright Black, The Karpets fronted by Tom Hingley, Honeyfeet, DJ Dave Sweetmore, the Rajasthan Heritage Brass Band and the Delphina Kings, plus more to be announced.

Rochdale Feel Good Festival returns on Friday 11 and Saturday 12 August, for another showcase of entertainment, food and culture.
