Police seize dune buggy in Middleton

Date published: 19 July 2017

Greater Manchester Police seized a dune buggy after it was spotted tearing around Middleton on Sunday 16 July.

After stopping the buggy, officers posted a photo with the tongue-in-cheek caption: “Due to the lack of sand dunes in Middleton some lads decided to drive this around the streets.

“No insurance, no buggy.”

“This isn't the Sahara.”

Officers added: “It’s not road legal and therefore can’t be insured so he can’t get it back. Let alone the six points on his driving licence and £300.”
