Stranger in van offered lift to teenage girl on Heights Lane

A man in a black van offered a lift to a teenage girl on Heights Lane in Rochdale.
The man, described as Asian and in his 20s with dark hair, was driving a small black van when he pulled over and asked the teenager girl for directions.
He drove off and returned a few minutes later, offering the girl a lift.
When she refused, he drove off.
A Greater Manchester Police spokesperson said officers were called to ‘reports of a man acting suspiciously’ on Heights Lane shortly after 11.20am on Monday 6 November.
Enquiries are ongoing.
