Body of missing man found in Castleton

The body of a man who went missing from his home last week was found on Thursday night on Thornham Lane, Castleton.

Stephen Cullen, aged 67, was reported missing from his house on Lindale Avenue, Royton at around 10.20pm on Valentine’s Day (Wednesday 14 February).

Formal identification is still to take place, but officers do believe the man is Stephen and his family have been informed.

Police believe there are no suspicious circumstances surrounding Mr Cullen’s death.
