Parking tickets issued to cars abandoned due to the severe weather

Cars abandoned near Cardinal Langley Roman Catholic High School in Middleton due to the severe weather were ticketed by traffic wardens on Friday morning.
A spokesperson for the Council said: "If any tickets have been issued to abandoned vehicles they will be cancelled."
