Runners raise £14,000

Andems Runners, Rochdale Harriers and race Marshall’s have raised £14,000 to help ‘Save Samantha Smith’, Mollie Campbell the International Basketball player and the Children’s Heart Association.
Andrew O'Sullivan, Andems Runners, said: “The money was raised by a series of 5K runs around Cowm Reservoir, Whitworth, from April 2017 until 28 March 2018.
“The presentation was at Morrison’s in Bacup because they have been backing my event’s wholeheartedly for last three years.
“Amy Tosh from Santander was there because I have my charity account at the Bacup Branch, which sadly closes in June."
