Cannabis farm
Heywood police were looking for a wanted male when they discovered a cannabis farm at one of the addresses checked on Albert Street resulting in an adult female being arrested.
Joseph McGuinness, from Smallbridge, was arrested and charged with handling stolen goods in relation to items recovered from a burglary in Heywood.
A car was seized on Bury Street and an off-road motorbike on Pilsworth Road, both for having no insurance.
Five men were arrested on suspicion of robbery and burglary and the vehicle they were using to commit those crimes was recovered.
In contrast, the police had the pleasure of patroling the 1940s day and even put a PCSO in a side car!
