Help bring a Hydrotherapy Pool to Castleton Health and Leisure Centre

Date published: 16 August 2018

Hydro 16, Enlightening and Castleton Leisure Ltd are working in partnership to bring hydrotherapy to Castleton Health and Leisure Centre and they need your help.

Joanne Potts, manager at Castleton Health and Leisure Centre said: “We have recognised a need for a hydrotherapy pool that is available for general public use in Rochdale.

“We have the perfect place for it at Castleton Health and Leisure Centre and we have countless testimonials from potential users.

“Hydrotherapy has amazing health benefits and can help to ease the symptoms of many life limiting conditions such as Parkinsons, MS, ME, Autism, ADHD, Arthritis, Bursitis to name but a few.

“It is also extremely useful for sports rehabilitation and that of stroke sufferers.

“Parent/Carers have reported having to travel as far as Preston and paying £60-80 per hour. This often includes changing time which can be a lengthy process for someone with a disability or an injury.

“We pledge to make this service affordable and accessible for people of all ages and abilities.

“Please join our crusade to bring hydrotherapy to those who need and deserve it, sooner rather than later."
