Man disqualified for 46 months after drink-driving collision

Christopher Byrne pleaded guilty to drink driving following a collision in Sudden earlier this month
A 33-year-old man has been disqualified from driving for 46 months for drink driving.
Christopher Byrne (DOB: 18/07/1985), of no fixed address, appeared at Manchester Magistrates’ Court on 15 September where he pleaded guilty to drink driving following a collision in Sudden on 13 September.
Police were called to the collision between a car and some railings just off the junction of Manchester Road and Bolton Road at 11.15pm.
No injuries were received, but a young girl under the age of 13, who was a passenger in the car, was taken to hospital for assessment.
Byrne was fined £346, ordered to pay court costs and was disqualified from driving for 46 months.
