Remembrance Services & Parades – Saturday 10 & Sunday 11 November

Residents across the borough will pay their respect to those who made sacrifices in defence of the country at this Sunday’s Remembrance Day Services. Commemorations will be held with events happening across the borough all weekend.


  • Friday 9 November

HMR CCG invites local residents to attend Committee Meeting – Number One Riverside, 11.30am – 1.30pm

Held quarterly, these meetings are where official business is discussed and formal decisions are made about the commissioning of GP services in the Rochdale borough.


Rochdale Business Awards – Rochdale Town Hall, 7pm

Celebrating the achievements of businesses and business people within the Rochdale Borough.


Comedy Night – Milnrow Cricket Club, doors 7pm / 8pm start

Fantastic line-up, tickets £10 each.


Woolie’s Gin Night – Woolworths Sports and Social Club, 7.30pm – 11.30pm

Come and spend the evening sampling 6 different gins and all the accoutrments, plus Woolie's famous potato pie supper!


FERAL set to bring feminism and folk music to Rochdale – Touchstones, 7.30pm

A unique theatrical experience dubbed a ‘massive feminist call-out’ which fuses storytelling and live folk music.


DARE – The Human League Tribute – Heywood Civic Centre, 7.30pm – 9.30pm

A guaranteed top class show with all round authenticity.


Live Music: The Rozzers & 80’s After Show Party – Empire Rochdale, 6pm – 4am

The Rozzers are the UK's number one tribute act to Sting and The Police.


Bonkers Bingo – Mecca Bingo, 9.30pm

Mecca Rochdale is once again bringing the party as they announce the return of the much-loved bingo spin off – Bonkers Bingo.

  • Saturday 10 November

Coffee Morning in aid of Hypermobility Syndrome – Smithybridge Methodist Church, 10.30am – 12pm

Raising money for the Hypermobility Syndromes Association, a charity not well known.


Heywood Model Railway Group Open Day – Club Room, Heywood, 10am – 4pm

9+ layouts. Bring your own loco's and stock to run.


Rochdale AFC v Gateshead FC – Crown Oil Arena, 3pm kick off

Sky Bet League One match.


A Tribute to Bob Fell hosted by The Alchemists & special guests – The Moorcock Inn, 7pm – late

10 years ago, the much loved Rochdale sax player, Bob Fell, sadly passed away. The Alchemists are playing a special gig in his memory with guests.


Last Night of the Proms Concert – Saint Aidan’s Church, 7pm

Featuring Wardle Academy Youth Band, Heywood Voice, St Aidan's Ukelele Group and Wardle Junior Blast.


Rochdale Music Society: Alexander Soares – Heywood Civic Centre, 7.30pm – 9pm

A concert on the piano, which includes three pieces from Rochdale composer Graham Marshall.


Ed Sheeran Tribute & DJ – Mercure Norton Grange Hotel & Spa, 7.30pm – 1am

Ticket price of £20 per head includes a 2 course sit-down meal plus a live DJ.


Live Music: SOULvation – Empire Rochdale, 6pm – 4am

Soul, Motown and Disco band based in Manchester, playing classic songs from the 60's through to now.

Bards of the Baum Folk n Poetry Night – The Baum, 7.30pm

All are welcome to either read, play, sing or simply make up the audience. Your own or others' works both acceptable.
