Staff in Riverside for BBC Children in Need
Staff at Rochdale Borough Council raised over £300 for Children in Need with a cake sale on Friday (16 November).
Two stalls featuring delicious cakes and other tempting treats were present on two floors in Number One Riverside, helping staff raise an impressive £360 for the cause.
Children in Need is the BBC's UK corporate charity, which provides grants to projects in the UK which focus on children and young people who are disadvantaged.
A record-breaking £50.6million was donated during Friday’s programme on 16 November, taking the total raised since the fundraiser began in 1980 to over £1billion.
