Motorcyclist receives serious leg injuries as collision closes part of Oldham Road in both directions

A road traffic collision between a motorbike and a car has closed a section of Oldham Road in both directions as of 5.30pm on Friday (18 January 2019).
The motorcyclist is understood to have received serious leg injuries, and the closure is in place between Queensway/Kingsway and Fishwick Street.
Police are currently on scene dealing with the incident.
