A man and woman from Yorkshire charged in connection with a shooting in Rochdale have had a trial date set for July.
Vincenzo De-Falco, 27, and Patricia Dean, 56, both of Kebroyd Lane, Sowerby Bridge, appeared at Minshull Street Crown Court in Manchester today (Friday 22 February 2019).
De-Falco – who has not yet entered a plea – was charged with section 18 assault, possession of a Class B drug and possession of a Class B drug with intent to supply.
He has been remanded into custody ahead of a further court appearance on 1 March, where he will enter his plea.
Dean entered a plea of ‘not guilty’ to the charges of assisting an offender, and has been released on bail.
In January, a 25-year-old man was taken to hospital with serious leg injuries after he was shot on Knowsley Street, near Falinge Park.
He has since undergone many hours of surgery following the incident, and is still undergoing treatment.
