Man 'assaults' security after attempting to steal alcohol from Tesco

A man is believed to have assaulted two security guards at Tesco after attempting to steal alcohol on Friday night (15 March).
Officers from Greater Manchester Police were called to the Tesco store on Silk Street, Sudden, shortly before 8pm, where a man suspected of attempting to steal a quantity of alcohol had allegedly assaulted two security guards.
A spokesman for GMP added: “We have no further updates on this.”
