Hollingworth Lake Easter Fun Fair opens on Saturday 13 April
Hollingworth Lake Easter Fun Fair, Children’s Easter Activities & Clubs, Model Railway Exhibition, Theatre Shows, Ladies Night, Live Music & Concerts, Healey Dell Spring Clean & BBQ, Embroiders Guild Exhibition, Wedding Open Day & Bowlee Car Boot Sale and Collectors Market - lots to do in and around the borough this weekend.

Hollingworth Lake Easter Fun Fair – Hollingworth Lake, opening on Sat 13 April & running until Mon 22 April
Rides for all ages including waltzers, bouncy castles and twist slides, as well as hot dogs, burgers and candy floss.
Annual Model Railway Exhibition – Littleborough Coach House, Sat 13 & Sun 14, 10am – 4.30pm each day
Hosted by Rochdale Model Railway Group, there will be 9 layouts showcasing the fine scale modelling of our members and friends.
Rochdale Embroiderers Guild Exhibition of Embroidery and Textiles – Littleborough Coach House, Fri 12 & Sat 13, 11am – 4pm & Sun 14 12noon – 3pm
The members of the Rochdale Branch of the Embroiderer’s Guild are showcasing their work until Sunday 5 May.

Children’s Activities – Gordon Riggs Garden Centre Rochdale, 10am – 12noon & 2pm – 4pm
Lots of Easter activities on over the holidays including painting bunny or sheep planters and a free Easter quiz trail.
I Wish I Was A Mountain – Heywood Civic Centre, shows at 11am & 2pm
Using rhyme, live music, and philosophy to boldly reimagine Hermann Hesse’s classic fairy-tale. For ages 6+.
Easter Fun with Chris Topper Puppets – Middleton Shopping Centre, 11.30am, 1pm & 3pm
Bringing his Three Little Pig Puppet Show muppet style puppets to life.
Muckers – Touchstones Rochdale, showtimes 11am – 12noon & 2pm – 3pm
Muckers is a funny, magical, physical production for ages 5+ with original songs.
Celebratory Evening for Angels Amongst Us – Thrum Hall Methodist Church, 7pm
People nominated as 'angels' from the Rochdale area will be awarded plaques and certificates.
St Ann’s Players Amateur Dramatics present The Opposite Sex – St Ann’s Church Parish Hall, 7.30pm
An extemely funny comedy with a cast of 2 males and 2 females.
Di, Viv and Rose – The Curtain Theatre, 7.30pm
Follow three girls over two decades, demonstrating how separation, careers, marriage, families and loss all affect their friendship.
Ladies Night – Mercure Norton Grange Hotel & Spa, 7.30pm – 1am
A night of fun with a male entertainer, followed by dancing with our resident DJ... just for the ladies.
Live Music: The Replicants – The Flying Horse Hotel, live music starts 10pm
Covering rock music and blues rock.
Live Music: Standing in for Joe – Empire Rochdale, 6pm – 4am
Late 1970s and early 1980s Punk / New Wave / Ska.

Heywood Model Railway Group Open Day – Unit 3 Park Works, 10am – 4pm
Come along and stretch the legs of your locos by running them on one of our layouts.
Spring Clean and BBQ – Healey Dell Heritage Centre & Tearooms, 10.30am – approx. 1.30pm
Help the countryside rangers and Friends of Healey Dell prepare for summer, then relax with a well earned BBQ lunch.
Cutlery Wind Chime – Touchstones Rochdale, 10.30am – 12.30pm
Fill your garden with the soothing sound of musical notes made with upcycled cutlery.
Lunchtime Concert – Rochdale Parish Church of St Chad’s, 12noon
Music performed by students of Manchester University and The Royal Northern College of Music.
Wedding Open Day – Mercure Norton Grange Hotel & Spa, 1pm – 4pm
See the newly refurbished bedrooms and Bridal Suite along with the top class facilities.
Rochdale Music Society – Heywood Civic Centre, 7.30pm – 9.30pm
Tonight is the Zelkova String Quartet Concert.
Live Music: Chasing Munford – Empire Rochdale, 6pm – 4am
Europe's No.1 Tribute to Mumford & Sons.

Bowlee Car Boot Sale and Collectors Market – Bowlee Community Park, 7am – 1.30pm
The first Bowlee Car Boot Sale of 2019. Sellers can arrive from 6am.
Sister Act – A Divine Musical Comedy – Middleton Arena, shows at 2.30pm – 4.45pm & 7.30pm – 9.45pm
Filled with powerful gospel music, outrageous dancing and a truly moving story.
Bards of the Baum Folk ‘n’ Poetry Night – The Baum, 7.30pm
Read, play, sing or simply make up the audience. Your own or others' works both acceptable.
