Rochdale woman charged with assisting unlawful immigration

A woman has been charged in connection with an investigation into unlawful immigration.
Hamdalat Rafiu-Amusa, 38, of Dover Street, Rochdale, has been charged on Wednesday 8 May, with assisting unlawful immigration.
She has been bailed to appear at Manchester Magistrates Court on Thursday 6 June.
In May 2018 officers from GMP’s Specialist Fraud Investigation Unit and the Immigration Enforcement Criminal and Financial Investigation Team launched an investigation into claims that a person was falsifying working documents to remain in the United Kingdom illegally.
