The Rotary Club of Heywood held their 86th Charter Night at Rochdale Golf Club on Tuesday 14 May.
Formed in 1933, the Charter Night, which highlights special social events on Rotary's calendar, is the club’s birthday.
Special guest speaker was Jimmy Cricket who brought the house down with his brand of humour.
President Mike Goldrick said: “I want to thank everyone for their unwavering support this year, for me personally and my charity Cardiac Risk in the Young (CRY) which raises awareness of young sudden cardiac death.
“The Rotary Club of Heywood raised enough money to offer a free heart screening service for 110 young adults, which we are hosting with Cardiac Risk in the Young (CRY) on Sunday 28 July.
“All places have now been taken.”
The Charter Night was attended by District Governor Tony Graves, Presidents and members of other local Rotary Clubs.
