This was the frightening view which faced many drivers as they made their way along the M62 in the early hours of Saturday 25 May.
A cloned tractor unit, towing a stolen trailer full of stolen chocolate, was seen traveling the wrong way on the M62 near junction 19, Thornham, Rochdale.
GMP Traffic reported that the vehicle was abandoned on the carriageway and recovered by patrols, enquiries are ongoing to identify offenders.
