Burglars break into property in Milnrow - twice

Date published: 17 June 2019

Two or three men approached a property on Buckley Hill Lane in Milnrow before forcing their way in through a window at around 5.50am on Tuesday 14 May.

The next day, the men returned to the same address at around 2.00pm before breaking in again.

A woman in her 50s and a teenage girl were at home during both of these incidents. Thankfully they were not injured but have been left incredibly shaken.

The offenders stole a number of items including a brown leather Radley handbag and blue leather Radley purse, a quantity of cash and a Volkswagen Tiguan.

One of the offenders is described as white, of slim build with a pale complexion, short facial hair and around 5ft 9ins tall. He was wearing shorts, a dark blue jacket with a baseball cap and black trainers.

Information can be given to police by calling 0161 856 8549 quoting incident number 273 of 14/05/19.

Alternatively, information can be passed on to the independent charity Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555 111.
