Kingsway Park High School Science Club at Number One Riverside
The Kingsway Park High School Science Club were recently invited to participate in the ‘Great Science Share’, a nationwide event held at Number One Riverside.
The students of the Science Club were tasked with proposing a scientific question that could be tested with an investigation.
The amazing question they came up with was: ‘Could you launch a rocket using an effervescent tablet’?
The students then presented their findings at the ‘Great Science Share’ event, displaying great demonstration skills and subject knowledge when challenged by scientists of industry, teachers and other school children.
After a great day, all students received an award presented by the Mayor Billy Sheerin.
