Co-op donate to ‘Our Big Day’ annual celebration for Rochdale's cared for children

The Co-op's Community Fund at Rooley Moor Road Food Store purchased bags of sweets to donate to the ‘Our Big Day’ annual celebration event for Rochdale's cared for children.
The sweets will be placed in goody bags and distributed to the children and young people living in care across Rochdale at their event on Saturday 6 July.
Rochdale Co-op's Member Pioneer, Bev Place said: "I was delighted to use the Community Fund to order bags of sweets to help this year's Cared for Children ‘Our Big Day’ celebration event to be the best one yet.
“It is a great day where cared for children are recognised for their resilience and courage and carers are thanked and applauded for their amazing work.
“I hope they all have a very much deserved brilliant day."
