Do you have memories or photos of Park Road, Rochdale?

Date published: 25 July 2019

Rochdale Local History Museum Team would like to hear of anyone with memories or photos of Park Road.

The Museum Team are featuring a terrace house where time stood still, they said: “Although the photograph was taken in 1973, it feels like we are travelling even further back in time.

“Four generations of the same family lived here between 1910 and 1973.

“Their personal items, now in the museum collection, give us a glimpse into the day to day life of Rochdalians during the early twentieth Century.

“The family archival records reveal work, housing, love, marriage, birth and death aspects of their lives.

“Did you or your relatives live in the area? If so, we would love to hear from you as we are planning a display about Park Road, 100 years ago.”

If you have anything which could help the Museum Team email: collections@link4life.org
