K Stars Morris Dancing's 2019 championship trophies

Trainer Kirsty Fearnehough, who set the troupe up in 2016, said: “I am so proud of each and every one of my dancers and how far they've all come in such a short space of time, topping our first championships by 10 trophies.

“They turn up to practice week in week out and strive to succeed. Our results definitely paid off. Our troupe moto is "Passion, Purpose and Pride" and they all show this at every competition.

“I would like to thank our main sponsors, Rochdale Boroughwide Housing, Kirkholt Million, and The Wellfield Club and many others who helped to get us where we are today.”

K Stars are based at St Thomas’ Church in Kirkholt, training every Friday evening from 5pm to 8pm.

If you are interested in joining, the troupe opens their books for coming season on Friday 27 September.
