Rochdale woman charged with possessing a blade

A woman from Rochdale has been charged with possessing a blade as part of Operation Sceptre, the national campaign to tackle knife crime.
Julie Roscough, 50, of Milnrow, has been arrested and charged for being in possession of a bladed article in Rochdale.
She is due to appear at Manchester Magistrates’ Court on Thursday 10 October.
A 21-year-old man was also arrested on suspicion of possession of a bladed article following a routine stop and search operation in Rochdale.
