Celebrations for the annual patronal festival at St Andrew’s Church, Dearnley, were led by The Bishop of Middleton, the Right Rev. Mark Davies, on Sunday (1 December).
Held the day after St Andrew's Day, the celebrations followed a musical evening on Saturday (30 November), which was well attended, raising £500 for church funds.
Describing St Andrew as a modern-day Mr Fixit, Bishop Mark said he was the disciple ‘who got things done’, setting an example to all.
