Elf Day celebrated at Heywood Care Home

Date published: 17 December 2019

Heywood Court Care Home donned their best festive fancy dress as they took part in Elf Day, a nationwide initiative to raise funds for the Alzheimer’s Society.

The brightly coloured costumes brought a smile to residents’ faces and festive cheer to the home.

Residents and their families took part throughout the day in elf-themed games and activities.

Michael McPherson, Home Manager at Heywood Court Care Home, said: “It was a fantastic day.

“It was great to see the residents get into the festive spirit whilst also raising money for a brilliant cause.”
