Kingsway Park students visit Poland

Date published: 20 February 2020

Kingsway Park High School students recently visited Krakow in Poland.

The students participated in a range of activities and visited a number of sites which informed them about the Holocaust in great depth. Students visited Auschwitz-Birkenau concentration camp, met a Holocaust survivor and visited Schindler’s museum.

Mrs Chambers, group leader, said: "It was a very intense and emotional trip for the students, but they showed  impecable behaviour and were extremely respectful throughout the whole of the trip."

Students have also learnt some vital life skills in regards to independence by taking responsibility for their passports, luggage, money and sticking to strict time limits.
