Greggs at Kingsway Retail Park, next to Costa Coffee
The Rochdale branches of Greggs have reopened today, Thursday (18 June) with a reduced menu.
This includes the Yorkshire Street and Kingsway branches in Rochdale, plus the ones at Birch services.
At the moment the branch in Middleton Shopping Centre remains closed.
New safety measures have been introduced for staff and customers, including card only payments, two-metre floor markings and 30-minute cleans for all equipment.
Only one adult per household will be allowed in the shop, but children can join them if needed.
All staff have undergone Social Distancing training prior to returning to work, and all colleagues have been provided with PPE. Behind the counter, special zones have been marked out with staff asked to follow specific “roles” to avoid crossing into another person’s station.
