St Thomas' School in Newhey
Hundreds of pounds have been raised towards repairs at St Thomas’ School in Newhey following flash flooding in June.
The school needs a new front door and porch roof after being affected by the adverse weather, and to date, £1,470 pounds have been raised.
To help raise the vital funds, parent Graham Finch is attempting the Great Run Solo Ultra Challenge – running a staggering 280 kilometres (174 miles) in 28 days.
Graham began the challenge on 2 July, and has so far covered 52km (32.3 miles).
