Man seriously injured after being run over by his own car when it was stolen in Middleton

A man was seriously injured when he was driven at by thieves who stole his motor vehicle from a property on Styhead Drive in Middleton.
Emergency services attended the incident at around 5.30am this morning (Thursday 13 August) after the 44-year-old man was hit by the car - a white Audi A6 S Line.
The victim was taken to hospital where he remains with serious injuries.
Enquiries are ongoing.
