Protect your family’s future with Springhill’s 2020 Make A Will fortnight

Date published: 22 September 2020

Springhill Hospice has announced its annual Make a Will campaign will run in October with the support of local solicitors.

Starting from 5 October and running for two weeks, solicitors will provide a will-writing service for those who want to secure their future, but more importantly, the future of their loved ones. The will-writing service is available to anyone no matter what stage of life you are in, whether this would be starting the process of drafting your very first will or revisiting an existing will you have already had written.

Solicitors are waiving their fee and instead asking for a donation to Springhill Hospice for their services. Suggested donations to Springhill Hospice for the service are £95 for a single will or £150 for a mirror will. The solicitors are also providing codicils to amend or supplement existing wills for a suggested donation of £50.

The solicitors who are supporting Springhill’s 2020 Make a Will this October are Molesworth Bright Clegg, AST Hampson Solicitors and Latimer Lee LLP.

If you want to participate and support Springhill this October, get in touch with your chosen solicitor above to book an appointment.

Springhill’s Events and Campaigns Fundraiser, Rebekah Cheshire said: “I certainly think the past six months have highlighted what is truly importantly in our lives. Now is the time to make sure that you get organised and have peace of mind by securing the future of your loved ones.

“Springhill Hospice and our supporting solicitors are here to help guide you through this process. In return you are giving the gift of patient care across the local borough.”
