Police are asking for anyone with information about the stolen vehicle or its occupants to get in touch
Police are appealing for information following a collision in Rochdale, involving a stolen vehicle.
At around 11.30pm on Saturday 16 January 2021, a stolen blue BMW collided with trees off Caldershaw Road.
The two occupants of the car ran away. However, prior to this, one was involved in a struggle with a member of the public.
The member of the public sustained a minor arm injury, believed to have been caused by an air weapon.
DC Rachael Stafford, of GMP's Rochdale district, said: "Thankfully, the member of the public wasn't more seriously injured but this must have been a frightening experience for him.
"I would like to appeal to anyone with information about the stolen vehicle or the occupants of that vehicle to contact us or Crimestoppers anonymously."
Anyone with information should contact police on 0161 856 8441 quoting 3227 16/01/21 or the independent charity - Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555 111.
