Whitworth man jailed for theft

A Whitworth man has been sentenced to 12 weeks’ imprisonment for theft.
Stephen Porter, 46, has also been made the subject of a successful Criminal Behaviour Order and is therefore banned from entering the local Co-op and Tesco Express stores for four years.
If he enters either store on his release from prison, he will be subject to further prosecutions.
