Local health watchdog wants your thoughts about Covid-19 vaccine

Date published: 06 March 2021

Local health watchdog Healthwatch Rochdale is carrying out a survey to gather information about people’s attitudes to Covid-19 vaccines and communications across the Rochdale borough.

The Government Covid-19 vaccines delivery plan aims to vaccinate tens of millions of people, and over 70,000 local people have now received the first dose of a Covid-19 vaccination.

Due to the targeted vaccination programme, there is still a large percentage of the population yet to receive their first dose and Healthwatch wants to hear your thoughts on receiving the vaccine and identify any areas of concern for local people.

Survey responses will be shared anonymously with local organisations to help identify areas where things could be improved. Responses will also be shared with Healthwatch England which will provide feedback to the government on how the vaccination programme is working nationally.

Kate Jones, Healthwatch Rochdale CEO, said: “The NHS is doing everything it can to deliver Covid-19 vaccines in the Rochdale borough and the programme is progressing well. We want to ensure that local people have received all the information they need regarding the vaccine and identify if things can be improved. Taking a few moments to tell us what you think can really help local services know how to make things better for you”.

You can share your views and opinions on the Covid-19  vaccine in the Healthwatch Rochdale online survey:
