Rochdale Sixth Form College shortlisted for TES Further Education Awards

Date published: 29 April 2021

Rochdale Sixth Form College has been shortlisted for the Sixth Form College of the Year accolade in this year's TES Further Education (FE) Awards.

The college's principal, Richard Ronksley, said: “Being shortlisted for the award is a fantastic achievement and recognition of the incredible work our staff and students have done over the last year – it really is a really big well done to one and all.”

Five other colleges have made the shortlist in the Sixth Form College of the Year category of the awards, which look to celebrate and reward the dedication and expertise of the people and teams who make a significant contribution to improving the skill levels of young people and adult learners.

Tes' head of FE, Julia Belgutay, said: “Further education providers have excelled in what has been a truly challenging year, and the amazing individuals, teams and institutions on our Tes FE Awards shortlist showcase that.

“Our judges were highly impressed with the calibre of entries and I want to congratulate everyone who has made the shortlist – it is a brilliant achievement."

After a very successful online awards ceremony last year, Tes is once again holding this year’s awards ceremony virtually. Winners will be announced on Friday 28 May 2021.
