Rochdale men arrested in Blackburn found to have 100 transit van keys and tools to steal vehicles

Two men from Rochdale, arrested in Blackburn, were found to have 100 keys for transit vans and tools to steal vehicles.

Both the driver and passenger of an Audi A4 were arrested at around 2am on Monday 6 September.

Blackburn and Darwen police said the car was stopped on Grane Road after initially trying to evade them.

Upon searching the car, police discovered around 100 keys for transit vans and tools used to steal vehicles.

The two men – aged 34 and 40 – remain in custody after being arrested on suspicion of going equipped [for theft].
