New pay-what-you-can-afford community café opens on Drake Street to help those struggling

Date published: 18 November 2021

A new community café for people who are struggling has opened on Drake Street.

The Roc & Rolls Community Café is a new venture aimed at helping those who are struggling after the pandemic.

Based at the Rochdale Reaching Out Centre, the café operates on a pay-what-you-can-afford basis to help people access healthy food and snacks at an affordable price, whilst providing a wide range of help and support from a qualified team.

The Reaching Out Centre was opened in April this year by the Sanctuary Trust charity, a new community building that provides a safe space for local people to come together and form meaningful relationships.
