Gaia Exhibition – Number One Riverside from Saturday 20 Nov until Christmas Eve (24 Dec)

Measuring seven metres in diameter and created from detailed NASA imagery, the internationally renowned 'Gaia' installation will see a huge work of art depicting planet Earth on display in Rochdale town centre.

Rochdale Sleep Out – Crown Oil Arena, 7pm – 7am

Volunteers are being asked to sleep rough for one night at Rochdale AFC’s home ground for charity.

My Old Man – Touchstones Rochdale, doors open 7pm for 7.30pm start

A funny and heartfelt production following the trials and tribulations of Michał - an old, blind, Polish soldier.

Heywood Christmas Lights Switch On – Heywood town centre (outside St Luke’s Church)

Entertainment will begin outside St Luke's Church from 3pm, with the official lights switch on at 5pm plus fireworks.

Rochdale Christmas Lights Switch On – Rochdale Riverside (Rochdale town centre)

Fun family events and entertainment will be hosted from 3.30pm and continue to 5.30pm, with the official lights switch on by Father Christmas, the deputy mayor of Rochdale and special guests at 4pm.

Showaddywaddy – Middleton Arena, 7.30pm

Formed in the 1970s, the band have been performing Rock n Roll hits for the last four decades.
