Make a will this month to support Springhill Hospice

Date published: 11 May 2022

Get organised and put your affairs in order for your own peace of mind. Making a will ensures your loved ones are well taken care of and that your final wishes will be honoured. The process of writing your will is much easier than you may think.

As Springhill’s annual Make A Will month returns this May, supporters are encouraged to take advantage of the free will writing service provided by dedicated, local solicitors, in aid of Springhill Hospice.

The team of solicitors are offering to waive the fee they charge for their will writing services in return for a donation to Springhill Hospice. Suggested donation amounts are £50 for a codicil, £100 for a single will and £150 for a mirror will. Each donation will provide much needed support to Springhill Hospice, allowing them to continue to deliver specialist treatment to patients and their families in the local community.

Danielle McCollough, Individual Giving Fundraiser at Springhill Hospice, said “Preparing for death can be difficult to talk about, but making a will is an effective way to put your anxieties to rest about what happens when you’re gone. Springhill Hospice’s Make a Will Month is an excellent opportunity to get expert help in putting pen to paper to make provision for loved ones in the future. Let our team of local solicitors help you get organised and know that you are "making every moment count" throughout your local community at the same time! “

You can take part by contacting your preferred solicitor branch to book an appointment, write your will with the solicitor and then make a donation to Springhill Hospice. Appointments work on a first come first served basis.
