Fireground Museum Open Day – Fireground, Maclure Road
Open 10am - 4pm, Friday 13 and Saturday 14 May

Fire Museum attractions are on show including historic and recent day artifacts.


Beryl – Oldham Coliseum, Friday 13 - Sunday 15 May

A play based on Beryl, who went on to become the greatest woman on two wheels.


Jam Packed Weekend at The 13ar – The 13ar, Friday 13 - Sunday 15 May, 7pm

A weekend full of DJs and karaoke.


Mind, Body & Spirit Fayre – Middleton Masonic Hall, Saturday 14 & Sunday 15 May, 10am – 5pm

Bringing like minded people together to enjoy and relax in beautiful energies.


JKs Inflatable Fun Weekend – Truffet Park, Middleton, Saturday 14 & Sunday 15 May

There will be kid’s rides, inflatables face painting and entertainment, and food & drink stalls.


The Producers – the Musical! – Champness Hall Function Room, Friday 13 - Sunday 15 May, 7.30pm

RMTC are performing the Broadway musical comedy, The Producers.


Gallery Exhibition: Mixed Media and Textiles – Littleborough Coach House, Saturday 14 May, 10am – 3pm & Sunday 15 May, 11.30am – 2.30pm

This exhibition consists of Ruth Bristow - Mixed Media, Phoenix Textiles - Textiles.


  • Friday 13 May

Totally Tina – Middleton Arena, 7.30pm

A tribute to Tiny Turner.


Summer Sparkle – Afternoon Tea with Prosecco – Bamford Chapel and Norden United Reformed Church, 1pm – 3pm and 4pm – 6pm

Afternoon tea organised by Heywood and Rochdale Committee Cancer Research.

The Victoria String Concert – Heywood Civic Centre, doors open 7pm

Rochdale Music Society concert.


Rochdale Artisan Market – Riverside Retail & Leisure Complex, 10am – 4pm

Runs on the second Saturday of every month.


The Magic of Dance – Middleton Arena, 6pm

Castleton School of Dancing are excited to announce their long-awaited show ‘The Magic of Dance’.


Heywood Model Railway Group Open Day – Unit 4 Park Works, 10am – 4pm

Monthly open day where donations are kindly accepted.


Rochdale Borough Council Recruitment Day – Number One Riverside, 9am - 12.30pm

Opportunities are available for students, college and university graduates, qualified professionals and people with experience to apply for.


Greater Manchester Walking Festival – Meet at Littleborough Station, 11am

The route is along the Pennine Bridleway, Rakewood, Hollingworth Lake and Rochdale canal.


Bandura Concert “Artists of the Ukraine” – Polish Catholic Centre, 3pm

The musicians bandurists Katerina Trachuk and Julia Kogut-Kalynyuk will perform Ukrainian songs.


Rochdale Ramblers – Saturday Walks – Start from Jumbles Reservoir car park, 1pm

‘Jumbles Jaunt’ is a 5 mile walk.


Littleborough Arts Festival: O’Hooley and Tidow concert – Littleborough United Reformed Church, 7pm

Yorkshire folk duo, Belinda O’Hooley and Heidi Tidow.


Falinge Park Community Hub Open Day – Falinge park Community Hub, 10am – 2pm

  • Sunday 15 May

Bowlee Car Boot Sale and Market – Bowlee Community Park, 6am for sellers, 7am for public - 1.30pm

Bowlee Car Boot Sale & Market - one of the biggest in Greater Manchester.


Combined Memorial Ride for Lee Rigby and Scott Hetherington – Mayfield Rugby Club, 9am – 2pm

Ride to honour our armed forces.


Six week walking group – Hollingworth Lake, 1pm

The distance for this walk will be 2 miles.


Rochdale Ramblers – Sunday Walks – Park at Chapel Road, Greenfield, 10am

Alphin Pike and Indians Head, walking distance = 9 miles.


Menopause Cafe – Touchstones, 1pm – 3pm

Menopause Cafe for women to come together to support each other.
